During the residency, the resident will be given the opportunity to curate a group exhibition on the four floors of Cloud Seven’s 500 sq.m. exhibition space. This exhibition, which will open mid-April 2025, is envisioned to be both innovative and reflective of the resident curator’s unique perspective on the Belgian art scene and the collection. Its timing coincides with Art Brussels, a pinnacle moment in the season, drawing international audiences and providing an ideal platform for cultivating connections with fellow arts professionals.
Throughout the residency, the resident curator is encouraged to explore diverse projects, like talks, conference panels, online publications, or digital endeavors. These initiatives aim to foster a dialogue between the works of encountered artists and the pieces within the collection, further enriching the residency experience and hopefully leaving a lasting impact on the broader artistic community.
Our aspiration is that resident curators forge enduring connections with artists, curators, organizations, and audiences in Brussels and internationally, contributing to a future that is both impactful and enduring.
