On 15 January, Cloud Seven welcomes artist Nico Dockx for the installation of Migration Is Normal, a work developed in collaboration with InstroomArt. The project reflects on migration as a structural and shared condition rather than an exception. The installation will be followed by a conversation between Nico Dockx and Valérie Chartrain, exploring the social, political and artistic dimensions of the work.

Nico Dockx (1974, BE) is a visual artist, curator, publisher and researcher with a fundamental interest in archives and structural processes such as data, memories, information, distribution and management. His works are usually the result of collaborations with other artists. Living in Antwerp, he is an educator at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, leading the multidisciplinary project Expanding Academy.
