This exhibition presents a series of works developed from annotations, sketches, and personal comments created on site during a one-day workshop dedicated to the handling and close observation of historical drawings.

What can we take away from an artwork through a note? 𝒩𝑜𝓉𝑒𝓈 explores this question through an intimate visual language — a coded system of transcription situated between drawing and writing.

𝒩𝑜𝓉𝑒𝓈 engages works from the past — including absent works — through reinterpretations and reactivations proposed by the students. The participating artists are present throughout the exhibition and share their research and artistic processes with visitors.
